Dr. Anna Begelfer is a certified Health Coach, Certified Integrative and Functional Nutrition Practitioner, and Clinical Scientist with a diverse background spanning basic, pre-clinical, and clinical research. She brings extensive expertise in clinical investigation, patient safety review, medical monitoring, and clinical protocol development. Her career has supported therapeutic programs across oncology, immunology, rheumatology, and neurology, with contributions to leading organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, ICON PLC, and others.
Her scientific foundation includes neurological research at the Princeton University Neuroscience Institute and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she worked with advanced experimental and surgical models. This experience strengthened her ability to bridge research insights with practical, patient-centered applications.
Dr. Begelfer holds a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, double-majoring in Biotechnology and Biochemistry. She went on to pursue graduate studies in Clinical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson) and earned her Doctorate in Health Sciences and Global Health from Nova Southeastern University. During her doctoral work, she interned at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and developed an integrative clinical protocol to support oncology patients during and after treatment.
Her commitment to leadership and professional growth includes completing Princeton University’s Management and Development Program, as well as Conflict Resolution and Leadership in Healthcare certifications at Nova Southeastern University.
In her integrative and functional health practice, Dr. Begelfer focuses on chronic disease management, immune dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, weight management, grief, postpartum and menopause. She is dedicated to an evidence-based, root-cause approach that supports the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of well-being.
She is also the creator of a specialized grief-support program that blends lifestyle modification, targeted nutrition, natural supplementation, and mind-body therapies—empowering individuals to take an active role in their healing and long-term health. Additionally, Dr. Begelfer serves as a mentor leader for IFN academy students and new practitioners. In her mentorship sessions, Dr. Begelfer provides comprehensive reviews of clinical and scientific materials, including disease mechanisms, laboratory analysis, supplement protocols, and case evaluations.
