She brings extensive experience in clinical investigational work, patient safety review, medical monitoring, and clinical protocol development. Her career spans therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, rheumatology, and neurology, with contributions to major organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, ICON PLC, and others.
Dr. Begelfer has also conducted neurological research at the Princeton University Neuroscience Institute and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she worked on various experimental models involving innovative surgical techniques. Her expertise spans basic, pre-clinical, and clinical research, as well as standard-of-care applications.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University with a double major in Biotechnology and Biochemistry. She pursued graduate studies in Clinical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ-RWJ) and earned her doctorate in Health Sciences and Global Health from Nova Southeastern University. As part of her academic training, she interned at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and developed an integrative clinical protocol for supporting oncology patients during and after treatment as part of her doctoral thesis.
Dr. Begelfer has also completed a Management and Development certification program at Princeton University, along with Conflict Resolution and Leadership in Healthcare certifications at Nova Southeastern University.
Her integrative and functional practice focuses on chronic disease management, immunological disorders, hormonal imbalances, grief, postpartum depression, and weight management. She is especially passionate about applying evidence-based, root-cause approaches that address the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions of health.
Through her coaching work, Dr. Begelfer developed a unique grief-support program incorporating lifestyle modification, nutritional support, natural supplementation, and mind-body therapies. Her goal is to empower individuals to take ownership of their health and achieve sustainable, meaningful transformation.
In her mentoring sessions, Dr. Begelfer provides in-depth reviews of clinical and scientific materials, including disease mechanisms, lab analysis, supplement protocols, and case reviews. She incorporates IFNA tools such as the Nutrition Care Process, STAIN Root Cause Analysis, HANDS-on Tool, Expanded Dietary Analysis, IFNA Short and Long Assessment Forms, and the MySQ Questionnaire.
